Last night was one for the books at Dante’s HiFi+ in Wynwood, Miami, our go-to spot for authentic vinyl vibes and soulful music experiences. Known as the first vinyl listening bar dedicated to analog audiophile culture in the neighborhood, Dante’s boasts a state-of-the-art sound system and an extensive vinyl collection curated by resident music director, Rich Medina.

While DJ Six Millz was wrapping up his set, we spotted none other than Jarobi White of A Tribe Called Quest by the turntables. Jarobi, known for his contributions to the iconic hip-hop group, didn’t hesitate to join us for a quick selfie and introduce himself, although his presence hardly needed an introduction.

For those in Miami looking to catch Jarobi on the 1s and 2s, he has a set every Tuesday at another favorite spot, 1-800-Lucky. Described as a vibrant food hall styled after a hip Asian market, 1-800-Lucky offers pan-Asian delights, indoor and outdoor seating, and a lively atmosphere–perfect for dancing and enjoying music.
