On Friday, September 27th, MusiCares and Amazon Music wrapped up their “Live on the Lawn” summer concert series with a night to remember at the Amazon Studios Mansion Lawn in Culver City. The final event featured performances by FERG, Toosii, and Kenyon Dixon, drawing music lovers, industry professionals, and supporters of MusiCares for an evening that blended music and community.

Earlier this summer, I Love Us shared a look at the second concert in the series, which showcased artists like Ayoni, TA Thomas, and Jordan Ward. The finale built on that momentum, offering a relaxed, picnic-style atmosphere where attendees enjoyed powerful performances while reflecting on MusiCares’ important mission.

Music for a Cause

While the performances were a highlight, “Live on the Lawn” was more than just a concert series. MusiCares, a vital organization within the music industry, provides essential services like mental health support, addiction recovery, and financial assistance for living expenses. With thousands of music professionals currently affected by Hurricane Helene, MusiCares continues to offer emergency relief to those in need.

Throughout the series, the focus has been not only on showcasing talent but also on raising awareness of MusiCares’ work in supporting the people behind the music. As the summer series concluded, the event highlighted how music can unite communities and remind everyone of the critical safety net MusiCares offers.
