The ALIVE Podcast Network, a Black woman-owned media powerhouse, has announced an exciting lineup of podcasts and collaborations aimed at celebrating and amplifying Black voices. The new slate of content, spearheaded by founder and CEO Angel Livas, seeks to redefine the network’s core mission: to Amplify, Be Black, and Create Content (ABC’s) that resonates with its diverse audience.

Livas emphasizes the network’s return to the fundamentals of engaging storytelling and addressing topics that matter to their listeners. “We’re creating content that listeners have said they’re ready to indulge in,” says Livas. This commitment to meeting audience desires is reflected in their “back-to-school” themed roster, which includes a mix of scripted storytelling, sports, and insightful discussions.

“Each of these podcasts has a richness to them that adds to the vibrant tapestry that stitches the Black community together,” Livas remarks. The ALIVE Podcast Network, which currently hosts over five dozen podcasts with millions of listeners, is set to further expand its reach. A new collaboration with the REVOLT Podcast Network will promote various shows across both platforms, enhancing visibility and audience engagement.

In addition to content creation, ALIVE is committed to supporting minority start-ups through mentoring, training, and increased visibility. The network’s recent recognition as a semi-finalist in Pharrell Williams’ Black Ambition program and Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women: Black in Business fall cohort highlights its dedication to fostering growth and innovation within the community. These programs also support ALIVE’s current fundraising efforts to secure Angel investments for phase two developments of their mobile app and hosting platform.
