According to Disney Parks Blog, the campaign features events and experiences across the parks, providing guests a variety of ways to engage with and celebrate Black culture.

Walt Disney World Resort Highlights

The celebration at Walt Disney World Resort begins on February 1 with a grand parade at Magic Kingdom Park. Emmy-winning journalist Tamron Hall will serve as the Grand Marshal, leading the procession down Main Street, U.S.A., at 3 p.m. ET. The parade will feature beloved Disney characters and dynamic musical performances.

One of the centerpiece attractions is the newly opened Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a musical experience featuring original songs by Grammy-winning musician PJ Morton. This immersive journey brings guests into the world of Princess Tiana and includes appearances by familiar characters like Naveen, Mama Odie, and Louis the alligator. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Princess Tiana, as well as Ariel from Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid.

EPCOT will host the Disney on Broadway series, featuring performances of iconic Disney songs. Additionally, Black artists will showcase their work at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, including Yesenia Moises, Ryan Riller, Larissa Brown, and Mark Page.

Guests can enjoy even more creativity at the Disney Springs Art Walk, which will feature art by Ernest Shaw, Nneka Jones, Nardstar, and Marci Swett. A new mural by Brandon Hill will also debut during February. Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can experience vibrant performances by Viva Gaia.

The culinary scene will spotlight Black culture with limited-time dishes like Blackened Salmon with Plant-based Hot Italian Sausage-Bean Ragoût and Peach Cobbler with cinnamon panna cotta, available at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels throughout the month.
