Starting her career at just 14 as a backup dancer for Destiny’s Child, founded by her sister Beyoncé, Solange quickly emerged as a creative force in her own right, according to Brittanica. In 2002, she released her debut album “Solo Star” and showcased her acting chops in films like Johnson Family Vacation and Bring It On: All or Nothing.
