UNINTERRUPTED, the award-winning athlete storytelling brand within The SpringHill Company, and Tribeca Enterprises have announced the lineup for the second annual UNINTERRUPTED Film Festival. Taking place on July 9-10, 2024, at Neuehouse Hollywood, this event promises to be a unique celebration of athletes as storytellers.
Founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, UNINTERRUPTED aims to provide a platform for athletes to share their stories beyond the sports arena. This year’s festival will feature a mix of film screenings, live panels, and exclusive conversations, offering fans a chance to connect with their favorite athletes in new and meaningful ways. According to Ricardo Viramontes, General Manager of UNINTERRUPTED, “This year, we maintain a similar ambition to center athlete-as-storyteller and are excited to offer expanded programming that will push boundaries, challenge thinking, and create meaningful discourse in the world of sports.”

Highlights of the festival include:
- State of the Game Conversations: Featuring renowned athletes like Toni Breidinger, Chiaka Ogbogu, Seniesa Estrada, and Trey Benson, these discussions will explore important topics such as the monetization of athlete storytelling and the future of women’s sports.
- World Premiere Screenings: “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery,” an intimate portrait of the first former WNBA player to become a co-owner and executive of a WNBA team, will be among the premieres.
- Live Taping of Podcast P with Paul George: Join NBA Superstar Paul George and his co-hosts for a special live taping of their hit series.
- Tribeca 30 for 30 Anniversary Celebration: A special panel celebrating the 15th anniversary of ESPN’s acclaimed 30 for 30 series.
The festival will also showcase a variety of short films selected by the Athlete Selection Committee, which includes LeBron James, Naomi Osaka, and Joel Embiid. These films, such as “EQUAL PLAY” and “MOVING MOUNTAINS,” highlight diverse stories and experiences within the sports world.
